Matthew Tucker's personal journey living with epilepsy and the inspiration behind creating Epilepsy Life Source Awareness.
Hello, I am the Executive Director of Epilepsy Life Source Awareness. I am sharing this because I live with epilepsy and have reached Epileptic stage 4, the final stage of the condition. At this point, there are limited treatment options available to help me. This experience inspired the creation of Epilepsy Life Source Awareness.

Our Mission
Epilepsy Life Source Awareness is dedicated to increasing epilepsy awareness in our community. We support youth, adults, veterans, and families affected by epilepsy by providing educational resources, advocating for access to health care, building community partnerships, and offering emotional support.
Our organization is seeking grants, donations, partnerships with neurologists, and possible holistic support options.
Our Goal
We plan to expand our vision through organizational growth and improved access to medical support. By the end of this fiscal year, we hope to secure 10 additional community partners, continue earning certifications through the Epilepsy Foundation, and our epilepsy awareness efforts. We also plan to grow our testimonial chat group, creating a safe space where people with epilepsy can connect and share their stories.

Through donations, we aim to raise funds for epilepsy research, improve quality of life, and bring greater hope to those impacted. Together, every contribution helps us spread awareness, provide support, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy.
The 4 Stages Of Epilepsy
Stage 1 Prodrome Phase
Early warning signs that may appear hours or days before a seizure.
Stage 2 Aura Phase
The first symptom of a seizure, often experienced as usual sensations or emotions.
Stage 3 Ictal Phase
The active seizure phase when abnormal brain activity occurs.
Stage 4 Postictal Phase
The recovery period following a seizure, which may include confusion, fatigue, or headache.
